Integrated Cost Management Systems, Inc. (ICMS) is a training, coaching, and software firm specializing in Activity Based Management (ABM). Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Dallas/Ft. Worth, ICMS provides ABM products and services to clients all over the world. Clients include manufacturing, service and governmental organizations of all sizes. Tom Pryor, President of ICMS, played an important role in the development of the ABM concept during his tenure as Director of CAM-I's internationally recognized Cost Management System (CMS) research project (1986-88). Tom was the focus of a BUSINESS WEEK article entitled, "The Productivity Paradox: That Old-Time Accounting Isn't Good Enough Anymore." ICMS is known for its ability to assist clients self-implement ABM. Unlike traditional consultants that do all of the work of a project and leave with the knowledge, ICMS offers a practical, lower cost alternative. ICMS "coaches" organizations through the ABM implementation and application process. ICMS assists organizations to create an ABM information system to support continuous improvement initiatives such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Business Process Redesign (BPR), as well as improved Activity Based Costing (ABC) and Activity Based Budgeting (ABB) decision making. The ICMS approach to serving clients... we combine our products and services, with your employees' talent and experience to assist you in producing a practical, cost effective, timely, successful and sustainable implementation of ABM/ABC. ICMS guarantees results. Tom Pryor is President and Founding Member of ICMS. Prior to creating ICMS, Tom held financial management positions with Motorola, Johnson & Johnson, and General Motors. He is former editor of THE JOURNAL OF COST MANAGEMENT. Tom has authored numerous articles and books including: Pryor Convictions: 31 Insights into ABM, Activity Dictionary, Using ABM for Continuous Improvement, and Activity Based Management: A Healthcare Industry Primer. | ||||
