is Performance-Based Budgeting?
PBB is a popular and proven budget preparation and cost improvement method
based on the best practice principles of Activity Based Management (ABM).
PBB is successfully used by government organizations of all sizes.
PBB
improves the cost of public sector activities and services. For example,

is the Workshop Objective?
This 2 1/2 day workshop will train managers and employees how to successfully
self-implement and use Performance-Based Budgeting (PBB) to improve the
accuracy and size of your city, county, state or federal government organization.
Who
should attend?
Because budgets are built from the ground up, every department manager
should participate in the workshop.

is the Agenda?
To minimize disruption to their job and maximize the use of real data,
participants will attend either a morning session or afternoon session.
